VAMA Designs is the place to shop for your dream wedding. Vaijayanti, the designer, has stunning outfits that are all couture but none of the fuss. She is wonderful to work with, and has great taste in order to help you customize your perfect look. I ended up buying all 4 of my event outfits for my wedding from VAMA Designs (Mehndi, Sangeet, Wedding, and Reception). I even liked her men's selection, so I bought my husband's outfit for the Mehndi event from VAMA too, which gave us a complementary, matching look that wasn't over the top. In fact, those two outfits have received the most compliments for our overall couple look throughout the entire wedding week. Vaijayanti has a broad selection of different styles in her home studio, and she is flexible with you to customize the base design to your own liking. I customized each outfit that I bought, mixing and matching different styles, designs, colors, and fabric from different outfits, and everything came out absolutely stunning. I will luckily never have to look back on my wedding week and feel that I did not like what I was wearing or how I looked. Vaijayanti travels to India to get your custom outfit made, FaceTimes with you, and communicates effectively over WhatsApp and email, in order to get everything done in a timely manner. Her tailor that finishes up the final fitting in San Jose is also great to work with. Vaijayanti does not complain about the work, as I could feel that she only wanted to help me look perfect on my big day. I would 100% recommend her to any bride looking to have a classy, gorgeous, and grand bridal look. While her prices may be steeper than the other Indian stores you might visit around the Bay Area, her quality, dress selection, and warm customer service is indeed worth the extra bill. We have only but amazing things to say about VAMA. We used her for our engagement party (sherwani) as well as multiple outfits for our wedding (sangeet lengha, wedding lengha, sangeet sherwani, wedding sherwani). The engagement party sherwani was exactly like I wanted, blue velvet. It was so unique and royal, that when it came to wedding clothes I did not think any other sherwani could come close. However, VAMA was able to provide us with amazingly elegant sangeet and wedding outfits. When there were minor alterations that were needed, she promptly and happily made all the necessary changes. It was perfect working with her and I would highly recommend her for any important events!

She took great care of me, my sister, husband, and our bridal party. She helped to find outfits within her store and also helped to coordinate custom outfits in India. She always took the time to understand what I wanted and delivered.

She had custom-made floral lengha made for me for my mendhi that turned out just as I had envisioned it.

She also helped to coordinate outfits for me and my husband for our Sangeet night. We got a lot of compliments on the outfits and how in synch we looked.

She also did an amazing job on my wedding reception lengha and outfits for our bridal party (14 people total). They looked absolutely gorgeous.

The customer service and beautiful designs at VAMA are so amazing and I feel very lucky to have had them make so many outfits for my wedding events.
